Why not join the Friends of Lancaster Judges’ Lodgings and help to promote and support the oldest town house in Lancaster?

The Friends organise a programme of events including the monthly Victorian Tearoom, socials and concerts.

The Friends have commissioned prints and cards of the painting for sale to the public to raise further funds for the museum. These are available from the [email protected] as an unframed print, A3 size, at £4.99 + £3.20 P&P (total £8.19) or as cards, with or without Christmas greetings, at £2.50 each or 3 for £6.00. Restored “The Judges’ Lodgings” painting.

The Friends have commissioned in 2024 cards on a pen and ink drawing of the Judges’ Lodgings Museum by Kim Leong (2023). They are also available from the shop at £2 each or 3 for £5.

The Friends are also selling a book written by Suzanne Bradshaw about the hidden lives of the servants who looked after the house and the judges when they were in residence. This is also available from the [email protected] at a very reasonable £7.99.

Membership is currently:

Young person’s single membership (age 18 up to, & including, age 25) …. £ 5.00   

Single membership (age 26 and over) …………………………………………£10.00     

Unwaged …………………………………………………………………………. £ 5.00                               

This entitles you to free admission to the museum, reduced rates for Friends’ events and 10% discount in the shop (some exclusions apply). It doesn’t include free entry to events organised by the Museum such as the Friday talks. The membership year runs between the February AGMs.

Accompanied children, up to and including 18 years of age have free entry to the museum

Our membership fees remain low so that members or potential members do not feel excluded.  However, if you can manage more and would like to make an extra donation this would be very welcome.  Thank you.
