The Friends of Lancaster Judges’ Lodgings website will not be collecting any personal data directly in any form when you access the website.  However, you need to be aware that:

  • The Friends will only receive personal information if you use the “Contact Us” form on the website or if you complete the Friends Membership Form which is attached on the Friends page. Both “Contact Us” and the Friends Membership Form go directly to the Secretary. If you donate via the link on the Donate page this information is sent to the Treasurer.
  • When signing the Friends membership form you will agree to your details being kept electronically on the understanding that they will be used only for the administration of the Friends of Lancaster Judges’ Lodgings. They will not be passed to anyone else without your permission. The information collected is name, address, email and telephone number.

The Friends have a General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policy statement which is available from the Secretary.

  • Donations may be processed by the Friends’ charitable arm, the Lancaster Judges’ Lodgings Museum Trust (“the Trust”). The Friends and the Trust may separately or jointly maintain a donor database in support of their fundraising activities. Where a donor wishes Gift Aid to apply to a donation the Trust will provide a separate written statement concerning the use of data to process the claim for Gift Aid.
