The Friends have invested in a card reader so that donations can be accepted both in cash and via card at the monthly Victorian Tearoom and other Friends events. It was used at the May tearoom and here are photos of happy customers.

Our wonderful manager and leader Lynda Jackson left her role at The Judges’ Lodgings after 8 very successful years on 31st July. She was appointed in 2018, before the reopening of the museum in March 2019, and immediately put The Judges’ Lodgings on the “must visit” sites in Lancaster. Lynda has moved the museum forward…

The June tearoom was another successful day despite the lack of sunshine. Regular visitors came and new guests from Latvia, Manchester, Fleetwood and Carlisle.
