Family Fun at Judges’ Lodgings

The museum was delighted to welcome back lots of families as we re-opened to the public in May. The new activity packs and garden games were particularly popular, alongside the free children’s craft and trail. The garden is full of colour and provides a lovely green space in the heart of Lancaster to enjoy croquet, hula hoops, bean bags and traditional games (complete with sanitiser and wipes).

The activity packs inside help little ones explore the house with a puppet, magnifying glass, sand timer, fidget items and trail. Alongside the new high chairs, baby bottle warmer, picnic room, baby change units and breastfeeding room, the Judges’ Lodgings is ready and able to welcome more families than ever before. Thanks to Museum Development North West for funding.
