Work Experience at JL
The Judges’ Lodgings were delighted to host Eve from Morecambe Bay Academy on her work experience during the last week of June.
She said that she learnt very quickly that there are a great variety of skills and knowledge that you have to have to work in a museum and she enjoyed every moment of her time and experiences.
When asked what she had learnt from her week, she said that she had gained a lot of transferable skills including new IT skills, social skills working with the public, volunteers and the staff, and confidence.
She said her favourite rooms were the Drawing Room and the School Room and she loved the views over the city from them both.
Eve finished her work experience enjoying afternoon tea at the Friends Victorian Café with her family.
