Heritage Tea Rooms

Delicate floral china cups elegantly set up for a tea party

We are delighted to say that The Friends made £1000.08 over the two days of the tearoom at the September Heritage Weekend.

What an achievement. Thanks go to all the bakers, the servers and the washer ups, and all the visitors that enjoyed tea and cake and gave so generously. There was a special cake each day to celebrate The Judges’ Lodgings Museum building 400th anniversary.

Children and adults alike enjoyed Victorian games including “Splat the Rat”, Coconut Shy and Hook a Duck. Our thanks go to those who helped look after the stall, hand out sweets and stickers and supported the activities.
