Thank you to all those visitors who came and enjoyed the delicious, festive cakes with their tea and coffees on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December 2025. It was a wonderful couple of days and we are delighted to say that we raised £316.32 on the Saturday and £310.53 on the Sunday. A wonderful achievement and thanks for being so generous. Our thanks also go to the cake bakers and friends who helped served, clear away and washed-up on both days.

Our wonderful manager and leader Lynda Jackson left her role at The Judges’ Lodgings after 8 very successful years on 31st July. She was appointed in 2018, before the reopening of the museum in March 2019, and immediately put The Judges’ Lodgings on the “must visit” sites in Lancaster. Lynda has moved the museum forward…

The June tearoom was another successful day despite the lack of sunshine. Regular visitors came and new guests from Latvia, Manchester, Fleetwood and Carlisle.
