We are delighted to announce that The Judges’ Lodgings will be opening on Fridays throughout the winter, apart from Friday 5th December which is the Friday before the Victorian Christmas weekend. It will also be closed on Friday 26th December and Friday 2nd January which are Bank Holidays. So the museum closes on Sunday 16th November and then will only open on Fridays until March.

Our wonderful manager and leader Lynda Jackson left her role at The Judges’ Lodgings after 8 very successful years on 31st July. She was appointed in 2018, before the reopening of the museum in March 2019, and immediately put The Judges’ Lodgings on the “must visit” sites in Lancaster. Lynda has moved the museum forward…

The June tearoom was another successful day despite the lack of sunshine. Regular visitors came and new guests from Latvia, Manchester, Fleetwood and Carlisle.
